Chemistry O Level Cambridge online classes

Expert online Chemistry tuition for Cambridge International (CAIE) O Level — covering every topic from the 5070 syllabus with exam-focused teaching.

How we teach Chemistry

Cambridge O Level Chemistry (5070) is examined across three components — a multiple-choice paper, a structured theory paper carrying half the marks, and a practical assessment, sat either as the laboratory test or the written Alternative to Practical. For students heading towards A Level sciences, it builds exactly the habits they will need, and our teaching puts those first.

From atomic structure and bonding through the mole concept, acids and bases, and redox into organic foundations, the syllabus rewards students who can explain chemical behaviour precisely and handle quantitative problems with confidence. We focus on the step-by-step method and the correct chemical language examiners expect, so marks are not lost to vague or disordered answers.

Lessons are live and capped small, with the close attention that turns difficult topics into dependable ones.

Frequently asked questions

Does O Level Chemistry 5070 have a practical exam?

Yes — either Paper 3, a school-based practical test, or Paper 4, the written Alternative to Practical, each worth 20%. We prepare both routes: salt analysis and gas tests from the qualitative analysis notes, titration calculations, and how to describe observations the way the mark scheme expects.

Does my child have to memorise the Periodic Table?

No — a copy of the Periodic Table is provided in the exam. What earns marks is using it: electronic configurations, group trends and formula writing. We build those skills until they are automatic, because they appear in some form on every 5070 paper.

Should my child take 5070 or IGCSE Chemistry 0620?

Both cover comparable chemistry and both count identically for IBCC equivalence. 5070 is the O Level route with a single tier; 0620 offers Core and Extended. In practice the school's board decides — and our teachers prepare students for both syllabuses, paper by paper.

What does it cost to join?

Group classes are Rs 19,000 per month per subject at O Level, or Rs 3,500 per class for 1-to-1 teaching. Three or more subjects earn 20% off and siblings 10%. The first class is free — message us on WhatsApp and we will set up a demo with the teacher.
