Physics IGCSE Cambridge online classes

Expert online Physics tuition for Cambridge International (CAIE) IGCSE — covering every topic from the 0625 syllabus with exam-focused teaching.

How we teach Physics

Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625) builds students’ understanding of the physical world from the ground up, with a distinctive assessment to match — theory papers split by Core and Extended tier, plus a choice between a hands-on Practical Test and the written Alternative to Practical. We prepare students for whichever route their school follows.

The content moves from measurement, motion and forces through waves, electricity and thermal physics to the fields, nuclear and basic quantum ideas that round out the course. We give real weight to the experimental and data-handling skills assessed in Papers 5 and 6 — taking readings, plotting and drawing sound conclusions — where careful candidates gain a clear edge.

Sessions are live and small, matched to each student’s tier so the physics stays challenging without becoming discouraging.

Frequently asked questions

Should my child take Core or Extended in IGCSE Physics?

Core targets grades C to G; Extended opens the full grade range including A* and carries the additional depth A Level sciences assume. Most students aiming beyond IGCSE take Extended. We assess which route fits during the first two weeks and can move students between them before entries close.

Is there a practical exam for online students?

All candidates sit either Paper 5, a practical test at their exam centre, or Paper 6, the written Alternative to Practical — both 20%. We teach the practical skills explicitly: apparatus choices, tabulating readings, significant figures and graph work, drilled from past papers until the format is familiar.

What decides the grade in 0625?

Two theory papers carry 80% — multiple choice worth 30% and structured theory 50%, sat as Core or Extended — with the practical component the remaining 20%. Physics rewards method: setting out working, units and significant figures properly is often the difference of a full grade.

How quickly can my child start?

Usually within the week: message us on WhatsApp, we match a group by level and board, and the first class is free so your child can try it live. IGCSE groups are Rs 19,000 per month per subject; 1-to-1 runs Rs 3,500 per class.
